About Me

My name is Randy Casciano.  I have been part of corporate America for over 30 years and have never lost my creative spirit.  I grew up in a small Central New York Village on a street with 32 of my immediate relatives. This is no exaggeration, 32 aunts, uncles, grandparents, and a lot of cousins.  I thought everyone grew up this way, literally surrounded by family. My passion for family and friends has become the foundation for my literary works. Some of my closest friendships were formed in my kindergarten class. I still see several of these classmates on a regular basis.  The moral of my first children's picture book (I Stepped in Something) is based on these bonds and the premise that having a good friend by your side will get you through any obstacle life throws your way. 

I still live in that same Central New York town with my wife and our loving dog Harlee. My children have also begun to build their own lives in this same Central New York area where we still cherish Sunday family dinners. The final inspiration to bring my children's book ideas to life came with the birth of our grandchildren.

I can usually be found working on projects and several book ideas while sitting in the writing space of my pool house that I built myself.
